About the Author
David M. Kelley and Tom Kelley are the authors of the book Creative Confidence. David is the founder of IDEO, a global design and consulting firm, and Tom is a partner in the company. The brothers have written several books together, including The Art of Innovation and The Ten Faces of Innovation.
Tom was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1959. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in mechanical engineering. After working in product development at Apple Computer and IDEO, he founded his own company, P’unk Avenue, in 2002. Tom is also the author of the best-selling book Creative Confidence: Unleashing the Creative Potential Within Us All.
David was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1951. He received his degree in mechanical engineering from Stanford University and went on to earn his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
