About the Author
Chetan Bhagat (born 22 April 1974) is an Indian author, columnist, screenwriter, television personality, and motivational speaker. He is also a recipient of the Padma Shri, one of India’s highest civilian honours.
Bhagat was born in Delhi in a Punjabi Hindu family and completed his schooling at St. Columba’s School, Delhi. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 1996 and worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs before starting his literary career. His first novel, Five Point Someone, was published in 2004 and sold over a million copies worldwide.
