About the Author
Derek Prince was a British biblical scholar, Christian evangelist, and author who was born in India in 1915. He was the son of British missionaries and spent much of his childhood in India and the Middle East.
Prince received a classical education in England before attending Cambridge University, where he studied modern languages and theology. After completing his studies, he served as a pastor in the Church of England before eventually becoming an independent evangelist and teacher.
