Rupi Kaur (born October 4, 1992) is a Canadian poet, writer, illustrator, and performer. Her work focuses on the intersections of womanhood, violence, healing, and empowerment. Kaur was born in Punjab, India, and moved to Canada with her family at the age of four. She grew up in Brampton, Ontario.
