About the Author
Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel) is one of the most popular children’s book authors and illustrators ever. He wrote over 60 books, including Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, and more.
Dr. Seuss was born in 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He grew up with a love of both writing and drawing, so it’s no surprise that his artistic career flourished early on.
