About the Author
All the Light We Cannot See is a novel written by American author Anthony Doerr. It won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction in 2015 and has been translated into multiple languages.
Doerr was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1973. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1995. He has since lived in Idaho, Massachusetts, California, and France.
Doerr’s first novel, About Grace (2002), was a New York Times Notable Book and won the Pacific Northwest Book Award.
