About the Author
Andrzej Sapkowski is a renowned Polish fantasy writer and the author of the book ‘Blood of Elves’. He was born on June 21, 1948, in Łódź, Poland. He graduated from the University of Warsaw with a degree in economics.
Sapkowski started writing short stories at an early age and gained popularity after winning the contest for ‘Fantastyka’, a Polish science fiction magazine, in 1985. His first novel, ‘The Witcher’ was published in 1986 and soon gained popularity throughout Poland.
