About the Author
Arthur C. Clarke was a British science fiction writer and futurist who is widely regarded as one of the most influential writers in the science fiction genre. He was born on December 16, 1917, in Minehead, Somerset, England, and passed away on March 19, 2008, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
