About the Author

Terry Pratchett (1948-2015) was an English author of more than 70 books, including the internationally bestselling Discworld series. The Good Omens co-author Neil Gaiman has said that Pratchett was “the funniest man I ever knew.”

Pratchett was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease in 2007 and died in 2015. In 2009, Pratchett was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for “services to literature.”

Neil Gaiman (born 1960) is an English author of books, comics, and films. His best-known works include the graphic novels The Sandman and Stardust, the novel American Gods, and the children’s books Coraline and The Graveyard Book. Gaiman was born in England and now lives in the United States.
