About the Author
Avi Silberschatz is a Henry and Lucy Moses Professor of Computer Science at Yale University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has been on the faculty at Yale since 1983. His research interests include database systems, operating systems, and distributed systems.
Greg Gagne is a professor of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
