About the Author
The Bands of Mourning book was written by Brandon Sanderson, an American fantasy and science fiction writer. He is best known for the Cosmere universe, in which most of his fantasy works are set.
Brandon Sanderson was born in Nebraska in 1975. He now lives in Utah with his wife and children. He began writing in 1988 and sold his first story to a magazine in 1992. His first published novel was Elantris, which was published in 2005.
Since then, he has written many best-selling novels, including the Mistborn series, the Stormlight Archive series, and the Warbreaker series. He has also written a number of shorter works, such as novellas and short stories.
Brandon Sanderson is a prolific writer and is currently working on several new projects. In an interview, he said that he plans to write at least one more Mistborn book, as well as a sequel to Elantris. He is also working on a new series, which is as yet untitled.
