About the Author
A.A. Milne was the author of the Winnie-the-Pooh book series. He was born on January 18, 1882, in London, England. He was a British author, playwright, and poet, best known for his Winnie-the-Pooh books.
Milne attended Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge, where he studied mathematics and graduated with a degree in mathematics. He began his career as a writer by contributing to humorous publications such as Punch and Vanity Fair.
