A Court of Mist and Fury Summary
A Court of Mist and Fury continues the story of Feyre, a human who falls in love with Rhysand, a High Fae. After defeating the Darkling in the first novel, Feyre must now face another threat: the King of Hybern, who is determined to enslave all of the Fae.
Feyre is still struggling to come to terms with her new life as a High Fae. She is living in the Night Court with Rhysand, and while she knows that he loves her, she can’t help but feel like she doesn’t deserve him. She is also haunted by the memories of what she had to do to save her family, and she is struggling to control her new powers.
One night, Feyre has a vision of Hybern invading Prythian. She knows that she has to warn the others, but she is worried that they won’t believe her. However, Rhysand believes her and they start to make plans to stop Hybern.
Meanwhile, the King of Hybern is preparing to invade Prythian. He has been draining the magic from humans and using it to create an army of stone soldiers. He is also planning to use a weapon that will allow him to control the beasts of Prythian.
In the end, Feyre and her friends are able to stop the King of Hybern and his army. However, at the cost of many lives. Feyre is also forced to make a difficult choice that will change her life forever.
