About the Author
James Clear is the author of Atomic Habits, a New York Times bestseller with over two million copies sold. He is also the founder of the habit-tracking app Fabulous and the host of The James Clear Podcast.
His work has been featured in The New York Times, TIME, Forbes, and NPR.
Clear was born in 1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He grew up playing sports and was a three-time state champion in track and field. After college, he started a software company that was acquired by Google in 2006. He then worked as a product manager at Google for two years before leaving to pursue his writing career full-time.
Clear has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University and a master’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, with his wife and two sons.
