About the Author
Sarah J. Maas is the New York Times and the USA Today bestselling author of the Throne of Glass series–Assassin’s Creed, Throne of Glass, and Crown of Midnight–as well as a YA fantasy series, A Court of Thorns and Roses.
She was born and raised in New York State. After graduating from Hamilton College, she moved to Philadelphia where she currently lives with her husband and dog.
Sarah’s first published work was the short story “The Girl Who Fell Beneath Fairyland and Led the Revels There,” which won the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Best Novelette in 2012. Her first novel, Throne of Glass, came out in 2012. It won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Debut Fantasy and has been optioned for film by Warner Bros.
