About the Author
Robert Greene is an American author and speaker known for his books on strategy, power, and seduction. He has written five international bestsellers: The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War, The 50th Law (with rapper 50 Cent), and Mastery.
Greene was born in Los Angeles, California. He has a BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Renaissance studies from the University of Southern California. He has lectured at many institutions, including Harvard University, Stanford University, the United States Military Academy at West Point, The New School, and Columbia University.
Greene has also worked as an editor at Esquire, as a Hollywood script reader, and as a freelance journalist for such publications as The New York Times Magazine, GQ, Playboy, Details, and Elle. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
