Who is Marieke Nijkamp?
Marieke Nijkamp is a Dutch author, born on January 6, 1985, in Hengelo, Netherlands. She is best known for her young adult novels, which often explore themes of identity, diversity, and social justice. Nijkamp is a diverse author and an advocate for marginalized voices in literature.
Nijkamp studied philosophy, history, and medieval studies at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. She later earned a master’s degree in cultural studies from the University of Amsterdam.
