About the Author
Pavel Tsatsouline is a Ukrainian-American fitness instructor who is credited with introducing kettlebells to the Western world. He has written several books on kettlebell training, including Enter the Kettlebell! and The Naked Warrior.
Tsatsouline was born in Minsk, Belarus (then part of the Soviet Union). He joined the Soviet Army at the age of 18 and served as a military special forces physical training instructor. He later immigrated to the United States, where he worked as a strength and conditioning coach for the Navy SEALs and the Marines.
In 2001, Tsatsouline published his book, Enter the Kettlebell!, which introduced kettlebell training to the Western world. The book was followed by The Naked Warrior in 2003, and Kettlebell Simple & Sinister in 2016.
