Six of Crows Summary
Ketterdam: a bustling port city where anything and everything is possible—for the right price. There, seventeen-year-old Kaz Brekker makes a name for himself as the leader of a notorious gang of thieves called the Dregs. His reputation is further solidified when he successfully completes a heist that others believed to be impossible: stealing a valuable artifact from the impenetrable Ice Court.
As a reward, Kaz is offered a chance at an even greater prize: the opportunity to join the infamous criminal organization known as the Crows. With enough money to secure his freedom and build a new life, Kaz is tempted by the offer. But there’s a catch: he must assemble a team of the most dangerous criminals in the city and break into the most heavily guarded place in all of Ketterdam—the Ice Court—and retrieve another valuable artifact. The mission is fraught with danger, and if they’re caught, they’ll likely be executed.
But Kaz has never been one to shy away from a challenge, and he’s assembled a team of the most skilled criminals in the city. They have the perfect plan—or so they think. What could possibly go wrong?
In this high-stakes game of crime and punishment, not everyone is going to make it out alive.
