The Tyrant’s Tomb Summary

The Greek god Apollo, AKA Lester Papadopoulos, has been captured by the Roman emperor Nero and is being held prisoner in his palace. While imprisoned, Apollo reflects on his past failures and wonders if the gods have abandoned him. He also meets a young girl named Claudia who reminds him of his daughter, Maya.

Claudia tells Apollo that the gods did not abandon him and that they are still with him. She also says that his daughter is alive and well. This gives Apollo the strength to escape from Nero’s palace and return to his rightful place among the gods.
